Quitting the Love in Action way brings together several layers of support, because smoking is rarely just a physical habit. For many people, it is connected to stress, emotional regulation, routine, identity, and the need for comfort or relief. My approach begins with an initial session to get to know you, assess your smoking pattern, and to have a Reiki and Bars session to help settle the body and nervous system before your deeper change work begins.

Next, 14 days of pretasking are an important part of the process because they create awareness around your triggers, thoughts, feelings, and smoking patterns. Rather than only focusing on stopping the behaviour, the homework helps reveal your emotional and mental habits underneath it. This gives you a clearer picture of what smoking or vaping is doing for you, when the urge is strongest, and what needs to be supported before the habit can fully shift.

You are given information and support from which to begin building your new identity and patterns not just as someone who has quit smoking but your new identity as a non-smoker, non-vaper

This feedback also allows me to tailor the hypnotherapy session specifically to you, rather than simply being a generic script.

The hypnosis can then work more deeply with your subconscious mind to change automatic responses and habit loops that are specific to you.

This layered approach can be more effective because it addresses the whole person — body, mind, emotions and subconscious patterning — rather than relying on willpower alone.

The final follow-up Reiki, Bars, or hypnotherapy session can be tailored to what you need most after the quit process has begun. Your Quit Smoking / Quit Vaping Process

This is your fully supported journey to becoming a non-smoker / non-vaper:

Initial Session: 2.5 Hours where we meet and talk about your goals for quitting smoking and get acquainted. We also have time for a reiki and access bars session which will calm your nervous system, quiet anxiety, over-thinking and mental fogginess. This allows you to feel comfortable in my studio so you can go deeper into hypnosis in the next session.

Pre-tasking: There is generally around 2 weeks (depending on your time schedule) between the initial session and your hypnotherapy session during which we take a deeper dive into the reasons why you smoke/vape and the reasons why you want to quit. Control of the timing is up to you so that by the time you come for your session, you have completed your pre-work and are 100% resolved to begin life as a non-smoker / non-vaper.

Hypnotherapy Session: This session takes around 2.5-3 hours and is specifically tailored to YOU and your needs. You will achieve a deep level of hypnosis to reprogram your subconscious habits and change your identity to that of a non-smoker / non vaper. You will also receive other take-home information to support your new journey.

Follow-up session: The follow-up session is once again tailored to what you need most following the hypnosis session. For some Reiki and bars provide a nourishing, calming nervous system reset. For others we might do a hypnotherapy reinforcer to consolidate the new non-smoking lifestyle and behaviours you are now living. This session is 1.5 hours and will leave you feeling refreshed and full of confidence.

What if I have tried to quit before and it didn’t work?

That is ok and it does not mean you cannot succeed. Often the missing piece is that the underlying stress, triggers, beliefs, and subconscious patterns have not yet been fully addressed, which is exactly what this program is designed to work with.

Do I have to do the 3 sessions, can't I just do the hypnotherapy without the pre-tasking?

Yes, you could do that. But by doing so, you decrease your chance of success. The 3 sessions + tasks provide a framework for your nervous system to be soothed, your own journey of understanding, discovery and commitment, a hypnosis session that is specifically tailored to you and your specific needs and follow-up aftercare to nourish and reinforce your new non-smoker, non-vaper identity.
